Summary Analysis Essay
(This Essay as the exercise in order to increase my Skill in Critical Reading)
In his article entitled “Should Woman Work Outside The Home?”, Mohammd Akade Osman shows us that women should not work outside the home. Osman states that having women work outside the home is morally wrong from a religious point of view. Furthermore, it can destroy as we see in jobs. In my opinion, I disagree with Osmans statement that attending women in society can make the problems. In his article, Osman views explicity about women who work outside the home with many reasons. But I do not find the main point of other reason positively about this case so that there is no solution which appear from Osmans idea. Therefore, in this essay, I will state my opinion about this case.
Osman thinks that in religious view, all the heavenly books such as Bible and Koran are clear about woman’s place in the world. From my experience since i have learned religions matter, yes, it s true that God made women specially. For example, woman must to keep obidience to her husband. But, it is mean that no reason for women to close herself from dinamic world. Everyone, either man or women should work for their family. According to my reason, women is not banned to work outside home provided that her job still affluent.
The author makes a statement about the partership between men and women based on God’s law. For this statement, I agree. According to the Authors claim that it is the duty of the man to provide a secure shelter for the woman, especially for her financial. It is true that man has a larger duty than women. But, if we see in fact recently, for a single parent who only woman and her children in family, should she not to work outside the home? Certainly she should work to fulfill her family necessary.
Osman makes a powerful point about the destroying of society because women entered there. I really disagree. In jobs, if men can increase her capability, he never lose his job though women was attend. And in family life, women will not make problems unless there is no commitment between wife and husband in managing their family. Occasionaly, if woman does not work outside home, she feel bored so that this situation make family unstable.

I also disagree that women who work outside home can bring the degradation and loss morals in society. I think there is no relation whether men or women if they are make collaboration in society. In recent years, “Emansipasi” is very important. Is not it?
In summary, women is a part of social member. She should get her career provided that she can manage her home profesionally.  Hence, for women, please get the job outside unless it is not burdenly.
